Spanish Immersion
Spanish immersion cultivates bilingualism, cultural appreciation, and cognitive flexibility, offering children valuable skills for communication and understanding in an increasingly diverse world.
Community Centric
By actively engaging with and serving the needs of the community, LEA is a vital hub that fosters a sense of belonging, support, and collaboration for the whole family.
Conscious Discipline
Conscious Discipline utilizes everyday events to cultivate emotional intelligence through a self-regulation program that integrates a whole-school solution for social-emotional learning, discipline and self-regulation.
Family Support
We partner with programs to support our families such as Head start, UPK, DPP, CCAP and even LifeSpan, which is an association that provides food boxes to our families. We support families through the registration process, hold multicultural events for the whole family, and offer a variety of activities like our Read-Aloud program with the Denver Public Library to build strong relationships between LEA, families and the community.
Educational Equality
LEA is a proud graduate of the Universal Design and Inclusion Project training. This project, funded by the Colorado Dept. of Early Childhood, supports and trains providers to meet the needs of children with delays and disabilities in an inclusive childcare setting.
Professional Ethics
It's important to us that our staff members have internalized LEA’s purpose and mission and practice in accordance. The key to LEA success is to maintain a reputation for the highest possible quality standards in all the Center’s work-related activities and business dealings.
Inherent Goodness
We believe children inherently possess goodness within, and our job is to help their curiosity form a foundation for a compassionate and empathetic nature.
